Our last morning at Pedras do Mar was spent lounging by the pool and hiking down to the natural pools at the base of the cliff formed by the tides. We ate lunch and then headed to the airport so Lauren could catch her flight back to NYC. I returned the rental car and checked into my hotel for my last night in Ponta Delgada.
While in Ponta Delgada, I stayed at Armazens Cogumbreiro, a gorgeous little boutique hotel right in downtown. It reminded me so much of a Parisian apartment, flooded with light from the floor to ceiling balcony doors.
Tomorrow I will have a couple hours to explore the city a little bit before flying back to the States!
