While in Lisbon, we stayed at the most wonderful hotel, Locke de Santa Joana. It was a great location with easy access to public transportation and shopping, and the hotel itself was gorgeous. We enjoyed all the staff we met who were super friendly and helpful. The vibe was on the younger side, but still very elevated. It was surprisingly priced a lot lower than other accommodations we considered. If you stay, don't miss out on the breakfast - we only ate there once but talked about it for the rest of the trip!
Day 2 was spent at the The Museu Nacional do Azulejo (National Tile Museum) and The Mosteiro de Sao Vicente de Fora. Highly recommend both of these! They were both architecturally stunning and filled with beautiful art, tiles, and views.
From the National Tile Museum we walked (uphill) to The Mosteiro de Sao Vicente de Fora. We were sort of wandering aimlessly and just happened upon it, but I'm so glad we did! We caught a wedding happening in the sanctuary and found gorgeous treasure in the museum. Then we climbed all the way up to the roof where we had the whole view to ourselves. If you're able, I highly recommend it.

For dinner that evening we ate at SOL Restaurant e Jardim which was LOVELY. Then we enjoyed drinks by the pool at our hotel before heading back to our room to sleep ahead of a full day in Cascais!
